The 2.2-inch high resolution screen gives you distances to any point on the hole in vivid, sun-light readable color. The vibrant color maps provide a “down the fairway” perspective for easier and better course management. No membership fee is required to use this product, and you can update your device at no charge for up to one year.
The GPS satellites will find which course you are on and which hole—or you can manually bring up a course and advance to any hole. You can also set four custom points per-hole on the interactive map, or set your own distance coordinates with the custom mapping feature. With the zoom and advance features, you can also easily calculate yardages to various hazards and landing areas for better course management.
Another interesting feature is the Shot Distance Calculator that enables you to set a point—such as on the tee-- and then drive or walk to your ball and it will calculate the distance of the shot.
