About Copperopolis Town Square

Copperopolis Town Square is a new town with deeply-rooted historical underpinnings. Developed by Castle & Cooke and designed by Rudy Ortega, it is a fresh approach to retail and residential that integrates historical awareness, environmental sensitivity and architectural appreciation into a country town setting. At its core is a neo-traditional urban design philosophy that emphasizes pedestrian-oriented retail and pedestrian-friendly streetscapes that create a socially interactive user experience. The architecture is reminiscent of the mid and late 1800s, capturing the essence of the Sierra foothills gold country and creating a sense of place that is missing from so many retail centers in the U.S.
