PHILADELPHIA, March 22, 2010 – Ron Jaworski, NFL great and current ESPN Monday Night Football Analyst, will host his annual Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge (RJCGC) to benefit the United Way Jaws Youth Fund. This event is the crown jewel of the Jaws Youth Fund’s annual fundraising events.
The RJCGC will be held from May 15-17, in partnership with Harrah’s resort. Events include a VIP reception, $100,000 Celebrity Shoot-Out, Pairings Party, and the “Kick-Off” and “Closing Drive” Celebrity-Am Tournament.
This year, Joe Flacco, Jon Gruden, Joe Theisman, and Bill Cowher are among the participants who will join Jaws at this highly anticipated event.
The RJCGC raises approximately $200,000 each year through sponsorship, donations and ticket sales. All proceeds go to the Jaws Youth Fund, a partnership of the Jaworski Family and the United Way of Camden County works to promote the future success of at-risk youth by assisting programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for disadvantaged youth. The foundation has raised more than $3 million to date.
